Welcome to the Toolkit for Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs!
Building enterprises for sustainable development together.
|
What is this Toolkit for?
Entrepreneurs from every corner of the world are launching businesses that are reducing environmental impacts, creating prosperity, and improving lives in their communities.
Who is this Toolkit for?
A social or environmental entrepreneur is someone who uses business principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change and protect or restore the environment. Social and environmental entrepreneurs work through nonprofits, private companies and government and are making important impacts on society. Social or environmental entrepreneurship is not incompatible with making a profit, rather these enterprises are for ‘more-than-profit’, and can use business models that combine revenue-generation with social and environmental benefits.
